We've been living a different life from the one we had been used to...
So many different things have happened in such a short amount of time…
But how about us? Where does that leave us? How do we take care of ourselves when the world is changing, when the certainty is not for certain?
Well, there are always things that you can do to make sure that you take care of yourself. You have two very important options:
2 options...
1. Stay the course, follow the news, hope that someday you will go back to the way your life was one year ago… Essentially, just hope for the best and live in a world that doesn’t exist right now.
2. Make the best of the situation that we’ve been given, enjoy the time that is different right now, enjoy the moment that you have on this earth, whether it’s living in a post or pre Covid world…
I hope you choose #2 and here are a few ways to take care of yourself during this different time…
Take a moment to be with yourself…
What does this mean? It means that going on walk by yourself can be nice every once in a while. It means that being ok with not going out is a time for you. Take a hot shower if you want, just pamper yourself as much as you want (with being responsible). And yes, we all need our space to feel good about ourselves, so take a moment to be with you!
Exercise
So many people love exercising because it makes you feel good. The endorphins that you release make you feel relaxed and they give you energy for the day. Even if it’s only 20 minutes a day, you’ll feel so much better!
Eat healthy
Just be conscious of what you’re eating… As a general rule, fruits and vegetables are preferred and also proteins. Just be smart and don’t have ice cream, candy and high sugary foods… Eating healthy is another way to allow your body to feel good without the need to do much else…
Pamper yourself
If you’ve been eyeing that bracelet for a while, then go for it, get it for yourself as it will make you feel amazing and you’ll be happy. I’m not saying to spend your life savings, but if you have extra cash, then go for it! Hey, if you need help, click here for an amazing store that has some really nice things…
So... What will you do?
There are so many things that we can be doing with our time. Even if you’re wearing your yoga pants every single day, you’re living in a different world from a year ago and we must cope with the fact that it’s here to stay (at least for a while longer)…
So do the best that you can, be happy, enjoy every moment and be confident with yourself. You can and you will get through this. Just take it one day at a time.
